We haven't had this much fun (or this kind of fun) in a long time!  We left our campground at 8:30 a.m. and headed to Oahe Lake.  It is the 4th largest reservoir in the U.S. and is behind the Oahe Dam on the Missouri River.  It was very hazy this morning, and all day, for that matter.  The smoke from the wildfires out west are really impacting this area.  We heard that some schools are closed, due to the heavy smoke.  I wonder if the winds from Harvey and now Irma are blocking the flow of the smoke, and it builds up here.  It didn't affect our fishing!  We had a wonderful day.  We caught 12 fish, all walleyes and we three people could have brought in 15 fish, which was maximum for one day.  We had a commitment tonight, so with cleaning 12 fish and getting out of here early, we had to head for shore.  We plan to go back tomorrow and hopefully, we'll get our limit to take out of here in two days!  It was so relaxing and so much fun.  Glenn had the boat, and all the gear, and all we needed was the North Dakota fishing license, which we purchased online before we left Wisconsin.

Jim is reeling in a catch!

                                                                     And here it is!

This is our catch of the day!

Glenn is a master with the filet knife!

We went to the Moose and had cream chicken for dinner and met John, Glenn's brother.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!  Yes, we know.  We should have had fresh caught fish, but we may not catch any more.  We want to take some out of here, and until we have our limit, we won't eat any.  We can take 10 walleyes each from here, so that's 40 filets!  YUM!  It was a great day!
