We were sure we would get rained out today, but it was only chilly and a bit windy when we struck off to fish again today.  The winds eventually, got less strong and the sun peeked out periodically, so it turned out to be a nice day.  The fish were temperamental today, though!  Glenn was the master fisherman today, and Jim and I each got a walleye, and Jim got a Northern.  Glenn fumed about putting the Northern in his boat, but he did it for us!  We like Northern's.  We are in store for rain for a few days, so we'll catch our breath and relax.  We did get enough fish today to leave here with our limit.  Glenn gave us what we needed from his catch today, so we are pretty happy campers!  What we catch after this, we'll eat right here, or give them to Glenn.

This is my favorite action shot of the day!  Jim caught this Northern.

Glenn has been a terrific 'fishing guide' for our two day outings, and we are forever grateful.

This is our new 'baby'.  When we were still back at our shed in Wittenberg and transferring our frozen food from the shed freezer to the ones in our motor home, I knew we would be in trouble when we caught some fish.  We had planned to go with a half empty freezer and that didn't happen.  So, I initiated the thought of buying a small freezer.  Of course, no one had one in stock for the size we wanted, so we would have to order one and have it shipped to Bismarck, ND.  Jim said that we have been living in our motor home for 12 years now, full time and we didn't need a freezer before, so why do we need one now?  Obviously, he wasn't thinking about where to put the fish that we were going to catch!  So, we picked up our little 2.1 cubic freezer last night at Best Buy and it is doing a great job of freezing our fish! I will never question the cost of walleye to eat it out in a restaurant again!  You don't get the bonding with friends or the good, fresh caught fish, so it was all worth it.
