We made arrangements about 3 weeks ago, to get hair cuts and a perm for me today in Sunsites.  We found 'Kathy' in 2006 in a salon in little Sunsites, and have seen her ever since.  She brings us up to date on what's happening in the area, and it's always good to see her.  She told us about a new pastry shoppe in town, so we stopped for a sandwich to split, two scones for breakfast tomorrow, and 4 assorted macaroons.  A Master French Pastry Chef runs this little place, that used to be the pizza place, and he certainly has found his niche!  They were very busy, and at 1:30 p.m., they were nearly sold out for the day.  We found a couple of caches in Sunsites that have been planted since we were here last, and then went to the Ghost Town of Pearce, just south of Sunsites.

This is the old jailhouse that was built in Pearce in 1915, and the cache was hidden here.

This is the plaque that is outside of the jailhouse, and it best describes its history.

This sign was on the fence that is around the jailhouse.  I thought we all needed a little humor today!
Pearce also has a general store that is absolutely, a walk back in time.  We happened to be here for Thanksgiving one year, and on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, they have Old Pearce Days.  They open up the general store, for everyone to enjoy.  They also have a dance in the streets by 'The Shady Ladies'.
